Monday was a sick day for me (I am soooo grateful it happened on a day that my husband had off) and then Tuesday Builder Boy got sick. He's still not feeling well, and I've given up on the idea that any school will get done this week. Which makes me grateful for the flexibility of homeschooling, and homeschooling year-round. It is a little bit discouraging that we only got 4 weeks done before this, but I am NOT going to let it take away my momentum. Maybe I can do some stuff with Early Bird that I've been wanting to do.
If you wouldn't mind, please pray Builder Boy is healthy enough to go to AWANAs tomorrow evening. Normally I wouldn't take him out for several days after getting sick, but it's the first day. As long as he doesn't have a fever or runny nose he won't get any other kids sick, right?
(ETA: Never mind. That's not going to happen. But at least Early Bird gets to start.)
